What is Included in the HEADS-UP STABILIZER Package

Each HEADS-UP STABILIZER package includes:  (1) Heads-Up Stabilizer, (2) FASGRIP Hook Shoulder Pad Strips, (1) FASGRIP Hook Helmet Strip, and (1) Stabilizer Concussion Warning Sensor. 
Tools needed:  A pair of scissors
and a phillips screwdriver.

Installation of the FASGRIP Hook Strips to the Helmet

Clean the back of the helmet with a mild soap and water.  Take the FASGRIP Hook Helmet Strip (3 1/2") peal off the protective backing (it should be sticky) and place at the bottom edge on the back of the helmet and press down forcefully to secure the strip to the helmet.  (NOTE:  If your helmet has a ridge, cut the strip into two pieces and place one piece below and one above the ridge.  If the helmet has an air pump valve, cut around the air valve.)

(NOTE:  Cut the FASGRIP Hook Strips around any helmet or shoulder pad rivets to ensure that the FASGRIP Hook   
               Strips adhere securely to the back of the helmet and shoulder pads, NEVER place over rivets.)

Installation of FASGRIP Hook Strips to the Shoulder Pads
1.  Clean the back of the Shoulder Pads with soap and water.
2.  Peal off the protective backing on one of the FASGRIP
     (3") shoulder pad strips and horizontally attach to the
     shoulder pads by pressing down forcefully to the left side
     of the back of the shoulder pad.  NOTE:  Cut around
     any rivets in the shoulder pads, NEVER place over rivets.
3.  Repeat step 2 on the back right side of the shoulder pad.
     NOTE:  Make sure the FASGRIP strips are evenly
     placed on the back of the shoulder pads.

Attaching the Stabilizer to the Helmet and Shoulder Pads
1.  Have the player stand up straight with their head and
     chin at a 90 degree angle. 
2.  Firmly attach the Stabilizer to the back of the shoulder
     pads pressing down so that they adhere together.
3.  Firmly attach the Stabilizer to the back of the helmet
     pressing down so that they adhere together.
     NOTE:  Never attach the Stabilizer to the helmet with
     the head or chin below or
less then a 90 degree angle.

If you want to cut off the extra part of the Stabilizer, ONLY cut between the Stitches.

NEVER cut the Stabilizer across the Stitched areas.

The HEADS-UP STABILIZER strongly recommends all coaches and trainers teach appropriate HEADS UP FOOTBALL techniques in combination with strength and stretching exercises for players necks, in order to help  to reduce the possibility of injury.                          
THE HEADS-UP STABILIZER DOES NOT PREVENT INJURY.
